This workshop will explore the different aspects of urban food production ranging from backyard
gardens, edible landscaping, urban hens, community gardening, fruit trees, and more. Come
learn about urban agriculture development in Columbia and how you can get involved today.
A Columbia resident since 2003, Adam Saunders is a co-founder and board member of educational
non-profit Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture. CCUA manages two garden sites in Columbia,
does garden education programs with local schools, organizes workshops on a range of food
production topics, and much more.
