The Office of Sustainability is a new department within the City of Columbia. Come visit with Sustainability Manager, Barbara Buffaloe, as she talks about the tasks of the office and what goals she has for sustainability in Columbia.

Barbara Buffaloe, LEED AP is Columbia's first Sustainability Manager. Buffaloe comes to the City from the University of Missouri Extension, where she served as a State Housing Specialist with the College of Human Environmental Sciences. Buffaloe's background in energy efficiency and sustainable building has prepared her for encouraging sustainable practices for everyone -including our City Operations. She earned her Masters of Science in Environment & Behavior and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Design from the University of Missouri.
